APRIL EVANGELISM ENCOURAGEMENT
The English pastor Charles Spurgeon said, “To be a soul winner is the happiest thing in this world.” Spurgeon felt this way because he experienced the joy of seeing numerous souls saved—witnessing first hand those once dead in their sins transformed through the power of the Gospel (Romans 1:16), forgiven, and made new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
Praise God, we are all called to be soul winners—ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20)—and participants in “the happiest thing in this world.” Realize this: Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the Lord desires to use you as a messenger of hope to a lost soul! So this month let’s pray for those who are lost; let's spend time with those who don't yet believe; and let's proclaim the glorious Gospel! - Michael Robble
