SOVEREIGN GRACE CHURCHES
2ND QUARTER 2026 PRAYER REQUESTS
§ Pray that God would give the members and pastors of Sovereign Grace churches a
renewed desire, and opportunities to share the gospel with unbelievers in our
communities and workplaces.
§ Pray for Adam Penird and his church planting team as they plant Cross of Grace
Church in North Manchester, IN asking God to draw unbelievers and the
unchurched to their Sunday services and to give them opportunities to share the
gospel.
§ Please pray for Marcello Torres and his team, as they plant Iglesia Gracia Soberana in
Reynosa, Mexico asking God to draw unbelievers to their Sunday services and to give
them opportuniAes to share the gospel.
§ Pray for our current Sovereign Grace Pastors College class, who will graduate in
early June, asking God to give them grace for their transition back home, and to use
their training to serve their church in any way that is needed.
§ Pray for Juan Jose Salano, a Sovereign Grace ordained elder from San Jose, Costa
Rica, and his family who were sent to Lebanon to reach Muslims with the gospel a
year ago. Pray for their ongoing protection and safety during the military engagement
in the Middle East. Pray also that Juanjo can plant a Sovereign Grace church
sometime in the next few years and eventually equip and ordain Lebanese pastors
to lead the church.
§ Pray for Bob Kauflin as he leads Worship God 2026 in Louisville, KY, July 28-31, 2026,
asking God to use Bob and the Sovereign Grace Music team to equip and strengthen
worship leaders, vocalists, musicians, folks who serve on sound teams, etc. so that
churches will be strengthened in God-centered worship every Sunday.
§ Pray for Carlos Contreras, Sr. Pastor of Iglesia Gracia Soberana in Juarez, Mexico, as
he leads the Mexico National Assembly of Elders meeting, May 11-14, 2026 in
Guadalajara, Mexico asking God to empower his leadership, and to give the pastors
in Mexico wisdom for the decisions they will make to serve the churches in their
nation.
§ Pray for our Global Leaders Retreat June 9-12, 2026, in Sydney Australia asking God
to use the retreat to equip and serve our national leaders throughout the world.
§ Pray for the Sovereign Grace Leadership Team as we gather for a strategic planning
retreat, June 15-17, 2026, asking God to grant wisdom and discernment for
decisions that will best serve our family of churches.
§ Pray that God would continue to provide financially for Sovereign Grace Churches
so that we can fund the gospel opportunities He is giving us throughout the world.
