Tony Walsh – Lead Pastor
Pete Payne is currently serving as a Pastor of Grace Community Church.
Joel Peabody -Pastor
Joel grew up overseas watching his parents proclaim the Gospel in Morocco and Spain. At ten, he recognized his own need for Christ’s redemption. After high school, he attended Bible College where he met Debbie. Through 34 years of marriage, they have watched God faithfully care for and prepare them to in turn minister to others. God sovereignly brought them to the Front Range from Peoria Arizona, where Joel had served as an ordained pastor at another Sovereign Grace Church. Joel and Deb’s kids, Logan and Katie, are grown and serving God in their own families, freeing them for greater ministry to the body. With a desire to serve at Grace Community Church, Joel led a small group and participated on the church Leadership Team, where he demonstrated wisdom, biblical insight and godliness. In 2015, the lead pastor asked him to join the Pastoral Development Group in 2015 to explore eldership here and he joined the pastoral team in October 2016.
Grace Community Church, originally called Providence Community Church, was planted in 1998 by a church planting team made up of 18 families and 22 individuals. The team was sent predominantly from a Sovereign Grace Churches church in Virginia Beach, Virginia. We have experienced God’s provision and care for us as we have grown over the years–beginning in a neighborhood community center, moving into Front Range Community College, Broomfield High School, and in 2006 being blessed with the purchase of our current facility.
Our mission statement is “We exist to make & grow disciples for Jesus with the Gospel of Grace!” For more information, please see our mission statement page.
Sovereign Grace Churches
Grace Community Church is part of a family of churches. Our family includes about 75 churches in the United States, Mexico, Bolivia, Canada, Europe, Eastern Africa, Southeast Asia, and Australia, all of which are joined together under the banner of Sovereign Grace Churches. Along with other Sovereign Grace Churches we share: our vision to plant, build, and support local churches; our passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ; and our commitment to our doctrinal distinctives.
