Saved by Grace

We believe that we are saved by faith in the atoning death of Jesus Christ on the cross - the Son of God becoming sin for us, the Mediator between God and man. We live in the good of this truth and it impacts our lives in every way!

• Our Statement of Faith This document is a collection of the essential doctrines that we hold to be true and precious. They inform and guide our decisions and practices here at Grace Community Church.
• The Gospel The Gospel is the center of all that we are and of all that we do. Our faith and life is rooted in the truth of Jesus Christ's atoning death on the Cross.

For the Glory of God

We have been given the Word of God and the help of the Holy Spirit to reveal who God is and how He works in our lives - for His glory and our good. We are committed to knowing, believing, and living out the truth of the Bible as part of our mission to beholding the glory of God.

• Our Mission Statement "Lives being changed by the transforming power of the Gospel to the glory of God!"
• The Church: His Bride The church is the beloved bride of Christ and, as disciples of Christ, we are called to love His bride and live together as a body and community.
• Outreach and Evangelism As Jesus' disciples, the Great Commission provides a daily mission of sharing the good news of the Gospel to those around us. It is a joy and privilege to tell others of the hope that we have received!
• Service Teams Part of the call of a disciple is to serve as Jesus served. We consider it an honor to follow in the steps of our Lord and Savior and use service as a means to love one another, reach the lost, and testify to God's active and transforming grace at work in each of our lives.

Transformed Through Beholding

What we do as a church grows out of who we are - sinners saved by grace, adopted children of God, heirs with Christ, and lights in a dark world. We structure our ministries around relationship - first our relationship to God, then our relationship to one another. We do not base our lives together on programs, but on our shared mission of beholding God.

• Philosophy of Discipleship As part of the Great Commission, we labor not only to make disciples, but also to further our own discipleship and personal spiritual growth. Discipleship at Grace Community Church is not a set process or program; rather it is relationship-oriented and Gospel-driven.
